Dear Members,
The EUPL is a prize that we have been co-organising since 2009 (financed by the European Commission) aimed at celebrating and promoting Europe’s rich and diverse contemporary literary scene by recognising outstanding fiction books by emerging authors from the 40 countries participating in the Creative Europe programme.
What does the campaign entail?
The EUPL is launching a grant scheme that will run until the end of the year. Its goal is to strengthen the EUPL’s digital visibility through bookshops’ online platforms, focusing on social media and their websites.
Bookshops will thus be able to participate in this campaign through posting a series of visual assets and elements that will be provided to them by the EUPL consortium across their social media and other communication channels. The bookshops will be renumerated for their promotion. Note: in order to participate, bookshops must have books from EUPL authors in stock.
Until when does the campaign run?
The campaign is intended to run until the end of 2025, using the Christmas sales period as a trampoline to ensure further visibility for the prize. That said, bookshops have until the 1st of December to apply through the following (very short!) form. The form also contains more information on the content that will be used to promote the prize. For any additional questions, you can address bookshops to me: my contact is also on the form.
